For Internet of Things (IoT) applications there are needs of running the MCU at both high speed and low speed clocks. Typical frequencies like 16.0 / 24.0 / 32.0 / 40.0 MHz and 32.768 kHz are widely used by wireless communications such as Bluetooth Smart, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), WiFi, ZigBee and sub-GHz RF. HKC offers a full series of reliable frequency products that are optimized for IoT applications.
For wearable devices, low power consumption is a major requirement. Oscillation circuit with low ESR crystal is preferred and hence HKC offers a low ESR option for wearable applications.
HKC’s IoT crystals are available in tight frequency stability to fulfill IEEE 802.15.4, that is not to exceed +/-40ppm
Small is not always the trend! There are many IoT products where small form factor is not a concern but cost is most critical. HKC is still producing traditional package size for cost sensitive IoT applications.
