日晷是沙漏、時鐘出現之前，古人測量時間的工具，亦是各地最古老的科學儀器之一，當中蘊含著大量的知識及文化。
研創廣場以幾何圖形為設計原點，藉由圓形的日晷、三角形設計的大樓，展示了我們以圓融共通的方式不斷邁步向前的理念。

Before the appearance of hourglasses and clocks and at the dawn of civilization, Sundials were used as the instrument to show the time of the day. It is one of the most ancient scientific instrument which encompasses deep-seated scientific knowledge and human culture.
Fundamental geometric shapes, the circle of the sundial base and a triangle of the research building, forms the basis design concept of the `Yan Chuang Square’.
It signifies the company’s motto in amalgamating ancient scientific concepts with latest scientific designs and development into most advanced products.
